The Brunswick BEACON is a non-profit, ecumenical body, established primarily to provide food and emergency financial assistance to those in need, to include providing for the social, physical and emotional needs of the most vulnerable citizens of the Greater Brunswick Community.


Heartly House
Heartly House is the only organization in Frederick County, Maryland, that provides comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse. They have been providing these services since 1979.
Frederick Rescue Mission
Since 1964, the Mission has provided for the needs of the hungry, the hurting and those experiencing homelessness. Faith House opened in 2016 to help women in crises overcome obstacles and get back on their feet.


The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs
The Coalition’s initial mission was to serve as a safety net for those in need of emergency shelter. The mission evolved to include programs that support people as they move beyond crisis and regain control of their lives. By 1998, services included energy and prescription assistance and financial support with security deposits.
Family Partnership
Family Partnership works to create strong foundations for the development of children, youth and families. They take what they know from science and research, and combine it with protective factors and create programs that support families and youth.
